Endless Sky Korath Missions
The game includes a major plot line and many minor missions, but you can choose whether you want to play through the plot or strike out on your own as a merchant or bounty hunter or explorer. See the player's manual for more information, or the home page for screenshots. Endless Sky is a free, open source game. I know from playing EV and Nova for starting nearly 20 years ago and making plugs that there are often mission timers, and from what I can see in the text file, there is one, but I've done a LOT of flying around, running stock missions, capturing ships, taking technology, usurping a few planets, etc. And still nothing has popped up continuing the Wanderer missions.
